Microsoft Office app started supporting Dropbox sometimes early November 2014. And now, the company has taken the road to collaboration a little further. The Office app now supports 3rd party intergration with iCloud and Box as well. What this means is that users would now be able to open, edit and save documents stored in iCloud and Box, directly from within the Office app.

Microsoft, which was once notoriously known for keeping all its apps strictly in their own ecosystem, has significantly changed its policy recently. Not only it made significant efforts in supporting its mobile apps in the iOS platform, it also did the same for the Android platform as well.
